Engaging Remote Students

Class has begun

The Engaging Remote Students course prepares educators for the inclusion of students in their classrooms as students may be joining them remotely while others are in the classroom or some are from completely remote environments. The course focuses on learning best practices about remote teaching, extending virtual classrooms and integrating education technology. The content covers video conferencing, distance learning organization, managing student work, developing engaging lessons and meaningful assessments.

3 Wednesdays – each session 1 hour & 40 minutes. Must attend all 3 session for a certificate of completion.

November 4, November 18, and December 2, 2020. NO CLASS November 11 & November 25

The instructor will provide participants with a certificate of completion and the instructor will provide participants with the Conferences & Institutes, University of Maine’s “CEU” application when the course is completed.
